I harvested my first big batch of vermicompost recently, mixed it 1/2 with regular soil and started a few vegetable seeds. They're quite vigorous! I'm happy to see this works with other folks. Sure would be nice to not have to buy seed starting mix!

We are lucky to have a worm farm about 10 miles from our house, where they have a ready supply of worm castings. I just added some to my front planter, where I planted my geraniums, vincas and spikes! I'm very excited that my plants will be big and beautiful very soon!
